We hope you and your family are all well during these difficult times.

Our team continues to work from home. The coronavirus quarantine was extended until April 24th in Ukraine, and there is a possibility it will be extended even more, but we hope for the best.

Paypal Refunds:

Many of you who used Paypal for paying on Backerkit have been asking why they got a refund yesterday.

Here is the 2 weeks long story short:

On March 28th, for no reason what so ever Paypal placed a hold on all the funds in our account and sent us the following message:

We were shocked! This literally tells us that we will never get the funds that our backers added for add-ons and extras because we obviously will never reach $1,000,000. 

Within the next 10 days, we sent tons of emails and messages to Paypal and always got standard responses like:

Then they don't come back to us and when we asked why? ...they came back with:

We couldn't get any other answer from Paypal and had no choice but to ask them to refund all the payments and shut down the account. They still gave us many standard "wait for 180 days" answers, but eventually agreed to refund yesterday. Unfortunately, they still kept a part of the funds, because their terms are:

This was a very frustrating experience for us and we wasted a lot of time trying to solve this problem and in the end, still lost a part of the funds.

This is why all the funds that were paid with Paypal on Backerkit where refunded yesterday.

We understand that this is not the best experience for our backers too, but we tried to solve the situation and couldn't do anything about this issue, but refund.

Important: If you used Paypal to pay on Backerkit, then your funds were refunded yesterday and we have to ask you to log in to Backerkit and update your payment information.

 Jollylook Auto Mini and Square comparison:

Many backers have been asking about the difference between Jollylook Auto Mini and Square.

The main difference is the size and format of the film the cameras work with.

The Jollylook Auto Mini:

Size: 150X110X65 mm or 5.9/4.3/2.55 Inch (when folded)

Weight: 400 grams  

Uses Fujifilm “Instax mini” instant film cassettes that produce a credit card size photo and this film comes in color or B/W(monochrome). 

The Jollylook Auto Square:

Size: 150X130X65 mm or 5.9/5.1/2.55 Inch (when folded)

Weight: 450 grams  

Uses Fujifilm “Instax Square” instant film cassettes that produce a square format photo, this film is currently only available in color.

BACKERKIT SURVEYS ARE COMING AND CORONAVIRUS!

Hello to All the Beautiful People of our Big Jollylook Community!

We hope you and your family are well during this challenging time, staying safe, and staying healthy.

Beyond health and safety, the COVID-19 outbreak has also significantly impacted businesses worldwide. In Ukraine, quarantine was introduced until April 3 to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and there is a possibility it will be extended. Our team is now working from home and hoping to soon be able to work from the office again.

The good news is that from March 23 to 25 we will send out all the surveys, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to understand how many Jollylook Auto Mini and Square to manufacture and in what colors.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. 

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts, we will also be adding more add-ons when they are ready and you will be able to add them. We will not lock the orders at least for the next 3 months.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://jollylook-auto.backerkit.com.

The campaign has officially come to a close!

The last 21 days have been truly incredible.

Jollylook Auto is 1117% funded!

We would like to once again say THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH for your support to Jollylook Auto!

For those who missed the campaign:

In the last 12 hours, we have received messages and emails from people who missed the Jollylook Auto campaign but still wanted to support Jollylook. We have good news - Jollylook Auto is now available to pre-order on our InDemand page on Indiegogo. 

A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment.

Here's a quick rundown:

First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds so we have the money to make the rewards. There’s a 14-day window for Kickstarter to review, collect and process the pledges.

Important! If you received a notification of a payment error, don't forget to fix your Payment. You have 7 days to ensure you receive your reward by updating your credit card information. After that your pledge will be considered dropped.

While we wait for Kickstarter to deliver funds we will be preparing a survey in the pledge manager (BackerKit) to get the information needed to finalize your rewards.

In the survey, you will be able to choose whether you wish to receive the Jollylook Auto Mini or upgrade to the Jollylook Auto Square, as well as choose the color, choose add-ons and tell us where we need to ship your rewards. We’ll send out the BackerKit survey to collect this information in mid-March.

Of course, we’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it, and provide an update where we will share with you the current status and progress of manufacturing Jollylook Auto.

We learned many lessons during our first Kickstarter campaign, and one of the most important of these was the need for regular communication with our backers. We plan to provide regular updates that share our progress towards completing the development and production of the Jollylook Auto.

In the next month, we will fully focus on preparing for the mass production of Jollylook Auto Mini and Square.
