We hope this update finds you well and in good spirits. As always, we're grateful for your continued support and faith in our project.
It's been a while since our last update, and we're excited to share some important progress with you, as well as some adjustments to our timeline due to the challenges we've faced in establishing our new location and team.
First of all, we're thrilled to announce that we've successfully produced and now shipping all rewards for the Jollylook Pinhole - The Instant Film Camera DIY Kit campaign! It's been a great experience and has provided us with valuable insights that will benefit the Jollylook Auto project.
As you know, we've been building everything from scratch in a new country - Slovakia, which has required more time and financial resources than initially estimated. However, we're happy to report that, thanks to the success of the Pinhole DIY kit campaign, we were able to purchase all the necessary equipment and set up our production facilities.
To move faster with the Auto square and save on the costs of the square developer molds, we plan to launch a Pinhole Square DIY kit Kickstarter campaign as soon as all the DIY Mini kits are delivered. This will enable us to manage our resources better and deliver the Jollylook Auto square to our backers faster.
Now, let's dive into the latest news and revised timeline for Jollylook Auto:
Camera Body Production: We will begin cutting and assembling camera bodies in April. We're confident that the high-quality materials and precise laser-cutting machines will allow us to create camera bodies that are even better than intended.
Electronics: We expect to receive the electronics test batch in May. If all goes well with the final tests, we will order the full batch, and we'll immediately begin assembling the first minor batch of Jollylook Auto cameras. We'll fine-tune the assembly process to ensure top-quality products for all our backers.
Revised Timeline: Due to the challenges associated with establishing our new location and team, we expect to have the first Jollylook Auto cameras ready for shipment by July. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work diligently to provide the best product.
Please remember that the timeline above is an estimate and is subject to change. We'll keep you informed of any updates or potential delays as they arise.

We thank our backers for your endless support and the kind words you keep sharing with us.
Thank you for believing in us.
It has been two months since our last update, and we have a lot of news to share with you.
As you know, we launched a Kickstarter campaign for a DIY pinhole camera kit in August, and it was successfully funded. So we are relieved to say that we were able to purchase the laser-cutting machines and fully restart our manufacturing processes. This means we will be able to complete the manufacturing of Jollylook Auto, and although with a huge delay, you will receive your rewards.

We’d once again especially like to thank the many backers of Jollylook Auto who have backed the DIY campaign. It means everything to us that after the long journey we have all been on that you supported us in these complicated times.
We are now able to manufacture the DIY kits, as we have everything we need to make them, and expect to ship all the rewards for the DIY kits campaign by December.
Thenext steps of Jollylook Auto:
The good news is that we just received the first test batch of plastic parts from our molds in China. We are doing the necessary tests for final confirmation of the sizes of the parts:

The next step after we confirm the plastic parts will be ordering the electronics, which will take some time, but we can make the bodies while we wait.
Some more good news:
Our metal parts contractor survived in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and is also restarting work and will be able to make the rails for us, we are glad that we can support their restart and order the rails from them.
Our current estimated plan for Jollylook Auto manufacturing:
December: start cutting and assembling camera bodies.
January: receive the electronics, and the first small batch assembly begins.
March: the first small batch is ready, and shipment begins.
April: expansion of production and shipment of all rewards.
Please note that this is the estimated plan, not the exact plan. There is a chance of a delay, and we will let you know in advance if it changes.
As some of our backers have asked for the option to switch their reward from Jollylook Auto to the pinhole DIY kit, we would like to give that option to all our backers.
We’d especially like to thank the many backers of Jollylook Auto who have already backed the new campaign. It means everything to us that after the long journey we have all been on that you still love our vision of bringing these vintage-styled cameras to the world.
We have received many questions from our backers regarding how and why we launched this new campaign. Just to be clear once again:
With all the obstacles we went through with our first cardboard campaign, we delivered all the rewards for the cardboard campaign. We constantly updated our backers with the Jollylook Auto manufacturing process, but then the war came, and we were forced to leave Ukraine and moved to Slovakia. In order to continue working on the Jollylook Auto project, we decided to launch the Jollylook DIY Pinhole project. We only decided to launch the DIY kit after a survey among our backers, and only after 73% of our backers supported this decision.
Today, we are not asking for any additional investment from our backers.
If successful, this new campaign will help us to complete the manufacturing of Jollylook Auto much faster, and you will receive your reward sooner.
We already have everything we need for this new DIY kit project, and part of the funds collected from the new project will help us to continue and complete the Jollylook Auto project.

Another great news is that everything finally arrived from Lviv, Ukraine to Zvolen, Slovakia!
We now have every opportunity to equip our workspace, production, and office with everything we need to continue working on the project.

The restarting progress:
We have a lot of news that we want to share with you!
We rented a workplace and have already started to equip it.
As many of you already know, unfortunately, the laser cutting machines in Bucha were damaged.
So we are happy to share that we have bought, received
and setup our first laser cutting machine in Slovakia:

We expect to install shelves and more equipment in July and hopefully soon be able to purchase more laser cutting machines.
The work is in full swing and we are happy about that.
We will be sharing with you the evolution of our assembly facility in future updates.

We are constantly looking for ways to not only save this project but to ship to you the Jollylook Auto cameras as soon as possible.

At first, we were planning to launch the Pinhole kit project on Kickstarter only after shipping all the Jollylook Auto rewards to our backers.
Now, due to the war in Ukraine and our relocation to Slovakia, we are thinking to launch the DIY kit campaign next month.
We have all the necessary equipment and parts to manufacture the DIY kits quickly, and if we will launch this campaign, then we plan to use a portion of the funds raised for purchasing more equipment and manufacturing the Jollylook Auto cameras sooner.
Now we want to ask our Jollylook community to help us determine our way forward.
